As soon as you become aware of an incident or circumstance that could give rise to a claim please notify our team immediately. You can file a claim 24/7 through our website or you can chat with a member of our incident response team through the chat feature in the bottom right-hand corner.

You can file a claim 24/7 through our website or you can chat with a member of our incident response team through the chat feature in the bottom right-hand corner. Once an incident or claim has been reported, our team will be in touch shortly after to better understand the claim.

Once you file a claim against your Counterpart policy, one of our claims attorneys will contact you shortly after to schedule a call. They will conduct an initial investigation to ensure that we have a complete picture of the claim. Once we have all of the facts our claims team will determine whether the claim is covered within your Counterpart policy.

To become eligible for the EPLI retention benefit the Policyholder must file a notice of claim through Counterpart’s website within 48 hours of receiving notice of the claim.

Conditions:

1. The claim must be approved under the coverage of the employment practices (EPLI) policy.

2. Prior to applying the retention benefit, Counterpart will confirm that the Policyholder filed a notice of claim within 48 hours of becoming aware of the claim.

3. Policyholders can only receive one retention benefit per claim and can only receive a max retention benefit of $5,000 across all claims in a single policy period.
